A voracious reader since the age of 3, Steven Cochran has turned a life-long love of history, a sharp mind and a memory full of historical facts into the vocation of a lifetime: contract researcher and lot writer of historical items for manuscript auction houses and collectors.
He lives in Brandon, Florida with his lovely and talented wife of 15 years (whom he does not deserve) and his “research assistant” Goldie the cat, whose primary joy is batting pens off Steven’s deck and running away with them. Somewhere in the house is a treasure trove of nice pens, which as yet remains undiscovered.
